![]() To achieve this, PATHFINDER has a new Dual-Diaphragm Balanced Armature (BA) Driver from Knowles for the key part of the midrange, two BA drivers for high frequencies, as well as two dynamic drivers with hybrid diaphragms that create bass and midrange.Ī Radial Venting Acoustic Chamber, newly developed by Campfire Audio, is applied to the two Custom 10mm Dynamic Drivers. The Combination for Perfect BalanceĪ completely new IEM design was needed for a wider frequency range, realistic reproduction, and a perfect balance. With a small team of highly skilled and dedicated craftspeople, we continuously experiment with materials and techniques to create something unique and special for the people who care most about it. ![]() Each model in our earphone line is designed and assembled by hand in our Portland, Oregon workshop our earphones are second to none in performance and finish. To realize this dream, they repeatedly tested numerous designs to produce a structure different from existing IEMs and added an innovative Dual-Diaphragm Balanced Armature Driver, finally achieving the best sound.Įnjoy a unique experience through PATHFINDER, a more advanced Hybrid IEM.Ĭampfire Audio springs from a passionate focus on refined audio reproduction. Now, Astell&Kern and Campfire Audio join forces once again to present PATHFINDER, a new hybrid IEM that offers amazing technology and sound.Īstell&Kern and Campfire Audio take innovation to a new level by combining their advanced technologies and designs to create a product worthy of the name PATHFINDER. Provide Pathfinders with planned pre-launch calibration and validation (cal/val) data from field campaigns, modeling, and synergistic studies.Campfire Audio and Astell&Kern have earned the recognition of audiophiles around the world thanks to their excellent technology introduced with the first collaboration model, AK Solaris X, which is a celebrated product that recreates the deep, rich sound of Astell&Kern. ![]() Provide Pathfinders with simulated mission data products and/or.Incorporate the Pathfinder’s contributions into the mission planning documentation. In turn, NOAA missions sponsoring Pathfinders agree to: Participate in the implementation of mission data by taking lead roles in research meetings, topical workshops, and related activities.Join the Mission Development to participate in discussions of mission data products related to areas of societal need and.Complete the project with quantitative metrics prior to launch.Engage in pre-launch research that will enable integration of mission data after launch in their area of application.Once in Phase B, following SRR, Pathfinders are selected for specific thematic areas of societal interest based on their signed Summary of Activities (SAO). Pathfinders are identified during the satellite pre-development stage (Phase A) of a mission’s development based on subject matter expertise that will help validate mission data for the thematic understanding and valuation of applications in society. End-users are defined as users from a national or international, public or private sector organization, industry association, non-governmental organization, university, or government agency who can effectively use the data to make actionable decisions that influence the well-being of their target communities. An application of data is defined here as an societally relevant use of mission data products in decision making activities that can be deemed as a benefit to society.Pathfinders are groups and individuals who have a direct or clearly defined need for mission data products, have an existing application or decision-making activity, and who are planning to apply their own resources (funding, personnel, facilities, etc.) to demonstrate the utility of data for their particular application. The Pathfinder may be either an end-user or conduct the pre-launch research on behalf of an end-user It is expected that this pre-launch research will result in a fundamental understanding of how NOAA mission data products can be scaled and integrated into organizations’ policy, business and management activities to improve decision-making efforts. Pathfinders are sponsored by NOAA missions but have the unique opportunity to bring continuity to select NASA missions (through the NASA Early Adopter Program). The NOAA Pathfinders participate in use case studies that help communicate the value of science to societal decisions and operations. NOAA missions sponsoring Pathfinders will provide specific support to engage in pre-launch research. The goal of the NOAA Pathfinders is to help develop value studies for the future applications of mission data products shortly after launch.
